Who we are

We are a group of doctors who are specialized in and devoted to provide the best treatment for those with automobile accident related injuries. Our team includes a Medical Doctor and two Chiropractors. Dr. Su Min Ko M.D. is a Medical Doctor who is specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Pain Medicine. Dr. Byung Lee D.C. and Dr. Kyung Lee D.C. are Chiropractors whose entire carrier and expertise is on automobile accident related injuries.

What we do

We provide multidisciplinary treatment for automobile accident related injuries. We diagnose and assess injuries by performing various diagnostic tests including; x ray, nerve conduction test/electromyogram, and VNG. Physical therapy, chiropractic therapy, and interventional procedures are performed in one place, combining both Medical and Holistic approach for quality care not many clinics can offer.

About our doctors

Doctor Sumin Ko finished his medical education in South Korea. After graduating Wonkwang University School of Medicine in 1996, Dr. Ko did his internship at National Police Hospital and finished residency in Family Medicine in 2000 at Samsung Medical Center which is one of the top hospitals in Korea.  Doctor Ko moved to the US in 2005 and also did his second residency at St. Mary’s Health Center in St. Louis, Missouri as an internal medicine resident. Family medicine and Internal medicine residency training provided physiologic and biochemical knowledge on human disease to Doctor Ko and he started his third residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center, New York City in 2007 to learn more about the relationship between neuromusculoskeletal  conditions and biomechanics. After the residency, he moved back to Missouri to learn Pain medicine at Advanced Pain Centers in 2009. After finishing his training in Pain medicine, he served as an attending physician briefly and moved to Fairfax, Virginia in 2012 to open his own practice, Better Life Pain Clinic. He underwent four different specialties. This unique experience helped him provide the best care to his patients. He opened Auto Injury Rehab Center in 2017. Auto Injury Rehab Center is one of the first medical practice specializing in treatment of automobile accident related injuries in metro DC area.

Dr. Byung Nam Lee finished and received his Doctoral Degree in Chiropractic medicine at Los Angeles Chiropractic College in Whittier, California. He is a National Board Certified Chiropractic Physician, currently licensed in the state of Virginia and California. Dr. Lee is a Certified Medical Examiner for the Department of Transportation, and is Certified in Whiplash Injury Biomechanics. With his expertise and clinical skills, he has served many patients involved in an automobile accident with dedication. He is trilingual; speaks Korean, English, and Spanish fluently.
